Probably because there are no drivers for the CF wireless card. I
doubt it would even work in a PowerBook w/ a PC card slot.
I bet a supported-chipset CF wifi adapter in a PCcard adapter would work
in a PowerBook's card slot BTW, though I have no direct experience to
support that.
That's an interesting idea. Are there any WaveLAN-based CF cards?
Hmmm. Probably not. But I'll bet there are lots of Prism-based CF
cards, and IOXperts wrote a Prism chipset driver...
