I Guess Thats the reason why my 540 would not boot however the 550
did fine with both the jumpers set. I am going to have to go back and
start dismantling the books again to see where i can get now with the
bit of new info i have.

However i've noticed that in my 540c the ide drive is without
jumper inserted, but it works
