We are currently using BW, and have recently implemented Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1. This project involves developing custom dashboards and reports with Business Objects EXCELSIUS, WEBI and Crystal Reports as part of an SAP implementation of a Affiliate Company. As part of this project, the Consultant will need to interpret requirements and ensure that the proper data is available in the SAP BW data warehouse and ECC transaction system to support custom report development in Business Objects. *Therefore, the Consultant will need experience in developing reports in Business Objects using SAP or ERP data.* *Required Experience*: - ERP data structures and reports - developing and interpreting report specifications - implementing SAP Business Objects reporting solutions, enabling integration with ERP systems - SAP Business Objects reporting tools including XCELSIUS, WEBI, and Crystal Reports - SAP Business Objects development tools including Universe Builder It would be highly desirable that the consultant have prior experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP BW data structures and SAP BW query development as well as experience in the areas of financial, inventory, manufacturing, and quality reporting. The consulting assignment will start on May 17, 2010 and be completed by January 6, 2011. The consultant will need to work onsite in San Diego with the project team. The consultant must have excellent leadership and communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They must also be able to work flexible hours if required to meet the project schedule. *Consultant Tasks:* * * The consultant, who will report to the Project Manager, will be required to: - work independently to document and/or interpret custom SAP Business Objects report requirements using standardized technical specifications - develop custom Business Objects reports based on SAP BW data extracted from SAP - develop test procedures and guide business users in custom Business Objects report integration and user acceptance testing -work with the Project Manager to identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues -perform other SAP Business Objects and reporting related tasks that are required to ensure that the project is completed successfully and on schedule *Background:* We are currently on ECC 6.0, Enterprise Portal 7.0, BW 7.0, and BOE XI 3.1.
