>Everyone said: get a Linksys router.
The Linksys router is good, much better than the MacSense / X-Sense router which
has to be reset all the time. But even better is a NetGear RT314 which is made
of Steel, has a built in 4 port 10/100 like the Linksys, but it has a better
firewall which make your network invisible to pings from IP addresses to which
you did not first send traffic. It is built like a tank, and you can stack
stuff on it unlike the funky shaped Linksys. It runs about $120 at circuit city
and CompUSA. Unlike the Linksys, it also supports Roadrunner Cable and every
kind of DSL connection known to man, including the PPPoverEthernet which most
DSL providers use instead of the industry standard DCHP that cable providers and
every other large network uses.
