I am using the XSense XRouter and was the one suggesting it. It uses NAT,
unlike the Linksys, but does require being unplugged every once in a while.
The NAT is a hardware firewall that will protect you from external probing.
Linksys requires additional software to come near the same level of
protection, but is not plagued with reset problems, and is a mass seller
instead of a specialty product.
