Here's the thing. I've got a PowerCenter 132 with 64 megs ram, sys
8.5.1 and 1.2 Meg HD that behaves quite strangely. Sporadically, it loses
all preferences, something like a bad pram battery would do. However
replacing the battery does nothing to solve the problem. Zapping the
pram, reformatting the HD does not solve the problem either.
What I've read somewhere in this discussion list is that a failing
power supply causes all sorts of strange problems. I'm wondering if a new
power supply could solve my problem. Anyone have a similar experience or
thoughts on replacing the power supply?
