I'll try the tech support chat and see if I can get some specific answrers
for my questions of compatibility. I just want to get one of those super
fast 24x write firewire CD/RWs and a contour design shuttle Pro (USB) for
audio/video editing. Also, an HP printer, USB... simple. I wonder if the USB
devices that require power, like the shuttle pro, will also benefit from the
internal HDD power cable setup that firewiredirect uses. I know it supplies
power to firewire devices, but does it do the same for USB, or does that
suck power from the PCI bus?
