http://velocityupgrades.com/
is still selling 128mb dimms for the PTP @ $29.99
The speed increase from interleaving may not show up in
normal use or with simple speed tests.
The PTP remains a substantial performer and flexible computer
for 90% of users & uses...
I'm awaiting my second one to replace my PowerCenterPro printing
computer. The PCP has a much faster system bus, but I like the extra
physical space
of the PTP box and the 'Nitro' board with it's 8 ram slots and 6 PCI slots.
The PTP with a 250/166 mHz 'Newer' G3 w 512k cache is slightly faster
than the PCP with a 250 mHz 604e w 1mb cache
Cheers...Michael
