Thanks again to all. Teddy, I did in fact give the link
another go 'round and found success this time. Nice to
have.
Also nice to hear someone is using it with success
under OS9.1.
Now I'm off to hunt for an Ethernet card. I'm partial to
anyone who supports Mac such as Asante or Farallon
or Kingston or Macsense, etc. but I suppose anything
would do given a driver (kinda like my CDROM
excursion).
I was briefly hot and heavy for a (free after rebates)
D-Link advertised by Circuit City but a quick trip to their
site revealved everything but Mac drivers. Wish I knew
who made the main chip on the D-Link; might make all
the difference.
I'm about to look in the usual places, both online and
around town. Anyone happen to have a favorite haunt
for such things? I suppose several of you have already
done this, since I suppose the majority of these didn't
come with Ethernet when new.
