Maximum will be 1mb
Should be able to pick up a 1mb cache dimm on eBay for $20 or so
eg http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1264375980

the PowerCenter probably uses the same cache dimm as the PowerCenterPro
ie. 3.3 v which was cheaper than the 5v at the time. There is supposed to be a
jumper on the MB to switch between the two.

OTOH
for the same dollar you will probably enjoy a bigger/better speed boost with
a CPU upgrade to a 604e 180 ~ 225 CPU daughtercard using your existing 512k
cache.
If you do so, look for the 604E version of the 180 and get a third party
(ie non Apple)
daughtercard (ie Newer, Powerlogix, PowerComputing or Umax)

Cheers...Michael
