I have a PowerTower 180e (currently with its original 604e chip, but I'm
planning to upgrade to a G3 in a day or two). It is linked to my
Wallstreet PB with a crossover Ethernet cable. That allows my wife and I
to share our Personal Laserwriter 300 printer and to move files back and
forth freely.
My local cable company is offering free installation and the first month
free on their ISP. I understand that will connect to my PowerTower through
the Ethernet port.
If I want to maintain the connection between my PowerTower and my
Wallstreet, do I need a hub or a router or what? What is that likely to
cost?
