Here is a list of symptoms and what I have done so far to try to fix my machine.

*Symptoms*

1 - It was running fine

2 - After a shutdown, it would not boot. By that I mean I hit the keyboard power key
and no fans started. No chime. The only sign of life was a flickering power light.

3 - Thinking this might be a problem with my APC UPS I shut the UPS down and reset it.
Turned it back on and the machine booted.

4 - Machine up for about 2 days, then I come home to find it shut down with everything
else still running.

5 - Repeated the process that worked before (did this several times). When I unplug
the machine and plug it back in the power light on the front of the machine will
flicker. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to duplicate this behavior. I also
noticed (after I removed the case) that the cooling fan mounted on the back of the
machine will try to spin while the light is flickering. This leads me to believe that
it is *not* the power supply since some juice is trying to trickle through.

*Attempts to revive the dead*

1 - CUDA reset

2 - Replaced Li battery on the logic board

Does anyone recognize these symptoms? I tried to be as specific as I could. If any
more clarification will help you help me then please contact me! This is my linux box
and I need it back up ;>
