There is a plausible explanation for this, believe it or not!

You have
2 32mb FPM dimm (presumably from the PowerCurve)
and
1 32mb EDO dimm
2 16MB EDO dimms (presumably from the 6500)

the EDO dimms are being recognized as 1/2 their EDO value in the
PowerCurve, which normally
uses FPM dimms.

hence
1 32 mb FPM + 1 mb 32mb EDO + 2 16mb EDO = 64mb recognized (32+16+8+8=64)
and
2 32mb FPM + 1 32mb EDO + 1 16mb EDO = 88mb recognized (32+32+16+8=88)

you can check this by going to
http://www.chipmunk.nl/DRAM/ChipManufacturers.htm
and determining whether they are indeed EDO or FPM dimms.

Also, check ebay for a cpu daughtercard and cache combo from a PowerTowerPro
(the powerCurve will also accept any daughtercard from the PowerWave or
PowerCenter series, but these topped out at 150 so it's not much of a gain)
The PowerTower and PowerCenterPro daughtercards cards MAY also work, but
are high clock cards ie. over 50 mhz, and might not be terribly reliable.

If you or anyone else wants a good article on souping up PowerComputing
machines with
faster daughtercards cards from later models send a note offline and I'll
send it along.

Cheers...Michael
