Didn't hear a car crash, the power comes on and the fan starts running, but
that's it. If you're saying that all I need to do is replace the card, then
I'll buy a new one, but if you're not sure, that could be an expensive test
process. I already paid $3210.00 for the damn thing when I first bought it,
( a rip-off, I know that now), I'd really rather not pour any more dough
into this thing.

I'll leave it out permanently. I haven't tested the card without the L2 chip
in, so I'll do that tonight. I won't get my hopes up though, gut tells me it
most likely isn't going to work. I'm pretty confident the card blew it
brains out, but we'll see.
