shelly, changing the scsi ID numbers is very VERY easy if all you have to do
is get it off of 0.   The hard drive you purchase will come with a sheet if
its new which will show you where the set of pins are that change the ID and
also will come with a "jumper" (which is just a little plastic connector
that you slide over two of the pins) to join to of the pins together which
is all you have to do to select the ID. if you dont want to do this you can
buy used from ebay or the like and just request that they set the ID to
anything but 0, im sure they will do so without a cost or care. I have scsi
hard drives I'd sell you if you'd like, just contact me off list and we can
discuss it.
