I am considering a G4 upgrade for my Power Tower Pro, and Sonnet says
their 450mhz G4 daughtercard upgrade will work on it. The problem is,
the card requires a driver to work, and I see some potential problems
with this when running Norton Utilities, the Mac OS CD or other
bootable CDs that don't contain this driver. Or for that matter,
booting off a hard drive that doesn't have the driver. Am I correct
in assuming this is a potential problem, and is there a workaround?
Is the driver stored on the hardrive, or in PRAM, or both? If in the
PRAM, what happens when you zap the PRAM? Any advice or suggestions
would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Sean Conlon
