Greg, If the ethernet cable is a crossover cable, you're good to go. Set the AppleTalk control panel to ethernet on both Macs. On both Macs, turn File Sharing on. Use the Chooser on your G4 - select AppleShare, highlight the 'Center's hard drive and click 'OK'....it will mount on the G4's desktop, and you can drop and files just as if it were an internal drive of the G4. -- Gene, a.k.a.
