Usb/firewire cards are going for around 80-90 dollars right now at most
online mac warehouses (sometimes as cheap as 49 with rebates) I am
posting this question about a power computing powerbase 200. I have a
reoccuring problem with two of said units, they will work fine one sec,
then the next time i start up the cd wont show up. usually this seems to
happen after playing diablo. I have tried replacing hard drives, OS
systems, scsi chain id's, scsi cable, cd's, ram, rom, and battery. I am
totally baffeled! since this is happening with both of the machines
that i own i am at a loss. did this motherboard have a problem with cd's
being taken out by the ide drives? any knowledgable help would be
appreciated. thanks
