Guys and gals,

I'm having trouble connecting my new DSL modem to my
Power Tower Pro 225. Somehow, my motherboard Ethernet port
doesn't seem to be working. I previously used a dial-up
modem through the modem port so this wasn't an issue.

The DSL software requires me to turn on AppleTalk and
set AppleTalk to point to the Ethernet port. The turning
on of AppleTalk works fine, but when I get to setting it
to the Ethernet port, it says it can't find it.

I have an extension called "Ethernet (built-in)" but that
doesn't seem to affect the working of the Ethernet port
one way or the other.

A simple solution would be to go down a buy a PCI Ethernet
card. I'm resisting that for the time as I want to see
if I can get the motherboard version working first.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Mike
