Good evening everyone ..
My research re the apple Flat displays has brought me to recognize that with a
new ATI Radeon Mac PCI Video card I can have the adapter on board for one of
the Apple Displays. One thing I cannot discover is the bus speed of the PCI
bus - at least that's what I think I need to know ...
The following quote is from the ATI website and I need some clarification
7000 MAC EDITION delivers
enhanced 3D/2D graphics
performance for today's
demanding applications and is powered by the
RADEON 7000 graphics
processor and 32MB DDR memory. Enjoy the
flexible dual-display
support for multiple combinations of CRT monitors, TVs and
video devices. Plus
RADEON7000 MAC EDITION supports OpenGL
for superior graphics and 3D
textures in gaming and workstation environments.

PCI
(66MHz or 33MHz)
This last line PCI (66mhz or 33 mhz) is the issue.
I have a Power Center 150, (Upgraded with xlr8's G3/400 and 512mb RAM)
presently running an ATI Rage 128 graphics card in one of my 3 PCI slots. Will
this Radeon 7000 card work with my system? this is the first time I've
encountered bus speeds (?) in relation to PCI slots.
As usual, thanks for your help and aloha,
David
