Hey folks,

I just added a 64 MB module to my Powerbase 180. This brings the total up
to 160 (max for this machine.) All was fine for about 10 minutes and then
all the icons disappeared from the screen. I rebooted and it told me
something about the finder and a type 10 error. Rebooted with a system disk
and it went all the way. I reset startup to my 8.6 partition and rebooted.
The process stopped with the smiley face and stayed there for 5 minutes
before I turned it off.

As far I can tell all the RAM matches the specs (got the new module from
OtherWorld) and know it is a 64 mb chip, EDO etc. Any ideas? I recalls
something about matching the memory for speed. Should I pull the orginal 32
mb chip as I think I recall those could be problematic.

thanks
Pete Ottman
