I'm new to the list and new to Power Computing. I bought a Power Computer
off ebay. It's the Power Computing 100. It will boot, but not every time.
I'm not sure if it's a loose connection or what. It seems if I jiggle the
power button just right, it will boot. However, each time it DOES boot, it
has reset itself to the wrong date and time. It gives the date as 8/27/56
and the time as 8 pm. What could be causing this? I plan to erase the disk
and install a new OS anyway. Should this take care of it? Also, before I
go tearing into the case, is there anything special I should know about HOW
to open it?

Thanks
Tony
