I think it's a significant upgrade - possibly not quite worth the money it
cost me back then - but prices must be what, half or so?, what they used to
be? The Sonnet has been trouble-free for me too. Although in the past month
I've switched to using a 667 G4 PowerBook (with 2nd monitor) as my main
system. The PTP gets booted say once a week for various reasons, like
multiple prints to an Epson inkjet.

When I use it, I don't have the feeling "how could I ever have been happy
with this?" Instead, while it's obviously slower than a G4 667, it's still
pretty darn usable (OS9.1) for most apps, most tasks.

Every time I upgraded the PTP, I wondered if I was pushing too far,
overextending the capabilities. Every time the PTP was reborn as a better
computer.

realizing that he's constitutionally allergic to the give and take of doing
business in used equipment.
