Greetings, I have a PTP 225 / maximum RAM / OS 8.6. I recently started having a problem trying to download off of the web site of Version Tracker when I use Explorer 5.1.4. If I click on an item from their menu, the pointer does the spin routine and the progress bar starts to move. Then it will freeze, & I have to 'force quit' Explorer to regain control of my computer. I CAN go to OTHER downloading sites where everything is fine!!! I'm only having this problem at their site.
I deleted the cookie and emptied the cache on Explorer in case it had become corrupted. I also rebuilt the desktop. This did not help. The only way that I can access Version Tracker's site is to use navigator. I would appreciate any thoughts on how solve this aggravation. tbird301 -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
