I have a PowerTower Pro 225
which i made HFS+ on my seagate scsi drives
sorry i don't have all my specs with me here at work...and even though this is a clone
question i will post my question on the regular powermac list too, but i was hoping
with this many knowledgeable people someone can advise me.

I am having probs and want to reinstall my system. I bought 9 from the IT guy where i
used to work and he installed it on my machine during a sorta "restore" operation
(literally linking my drive to one where it was more of a copy than an install)

now i go to use the disk and because it's not supported by Mac -- the alert comes up
telling me it won't run the installer. I can't go back to my old system (and don't
want to -- i wanna run 9) it won't let me anyway because of the HFS+ (i believe)

How can i get around this problem and do a clean install?

TIA

Susan
