I've got a PowerTower (formerly 180e, non-Pro) into which I installed a
PowerLogix PowerForce 400 MHz G3 upgrade daughterboard.

I have run this board for several months without overclocking: Backside
cache is set to 200 MHz, 2:1.

I tried bumping up the backside cache ratio to 267 MHz, 3:1. Upon restart,
the Finder crashed repeatedly.

I ran DiskWarrior (which didn't help), then TechTool Pro which allowed the
machine to finally boot from the startup disk. At that point, I backed the
cache back to 200 MHz, 2:1.

Was this a fluke, or should I not try to punch the card up on this machine?

OS 9.1
384 MB RAM
