Sonnet G3/400 is pretty cheap (under $200) or Sonnet G4-800Mhz ($400), RAM is really cheap (add/swap some 64 or 128 dimms in there), www.macsales.com has a FREE OSX intall utility. Consider a firewire/usb combo card (carefull on the manufacturer for compatibility, my orange micro works fine) and possibly an ide/ATA controller for a cheaper large hard drive.
