Not a lot of information to go on, but always go for the simple first. The OEM
video card is most likely a tt 128? Damn near bullet proof. Check the seating of
the video card, cable connections, etc.. Is it a known good monitor, good cable,
etc.?

Even if the card is bad, replacement ones are usually real reasonable on the
auction sites. The PTP series used video on cards, not on the mother board.
