Don't you think the latest Apple Advertising campaign is head and shoulders superior to ... that seen in the last 10 years?
Finally they are stressing the Mac's main redeeming quality ... ease of use ... with the resulting increase in productivity. At the age of 18, I read Vance Packard's Book "The Hidden Persuaders" (on the Theory of advertising). As an interested observer, I've read much more about it. Each year, I've been more critical of the millions of dollars wasted on "Artsy Crap" that advertising agencies generate to impress other agencies ... rather than motivate "The Great Unwashed" to buy the product. The iMac campaign that stressed colors was a good example. I consider a person that would buy a computer, because of its color, a gen-u-wine quarter wit (not up to half wit standards).
