Hi all, I got OS 9.0 to install on both my PCP 180 (with newer tech 210 604e upgrade card) and my PB 240. How ever after installation neither computer would boot :-(
I t would get a little ways into the install and after leaving the mchine for a couple hours it still hadnt booted. However I installed OS 9.0 from the same cd onto a Power Mac 7100/66 and besides running hella slow with its 56 Mb of RAM it seems to work fine? Somone mentioned the ROM chip might keep the PC machines frmo booting to OS 9.0? Should I put the ROM from the 7100/66 into the PCP180, would that work? Any t houghts or help would be great! Also... I'm trying to save up for a new mac (can here gasps all over from his friends...) I want the Imac with the 17" flat panel.
