Ok, that fixed the no video problem... I pulled out all the RAM DIMMs
and reseated them. Now it boots ok. By inspection, they all looked
fine, but it just goes to show you that actually physically reseating
things never hurts.

Now my 2nd problem. I've got 2 Seagate ST11200N (aka Hawk 1) drives
installed and a 250MB SCSI drive (boot disk w/ 8.1). I crash during
boot if a certain one of the Seagates is connected. If the second is
connected, I can't reformat it in Drive Setup w/o another crash.

The Seagates are both pulls from Sun Microsystems 411 external boxes.

The 2nd drive makes a lovely clicking noise, so I suppose it's
trashed. I don't know what the problem is with the 1st drive though.
After it spins up (delay motor start), the LED just strobes and
strobes and strobes and ... well you get the idea. Once the strobing
starts, though, the Mac is crashed.

Any ideas? Think both of these disks are trash?

The PTP boots fine without them... Sigh. :-(

Peace,
Drew
