Tim,

Normally the cover should not be soldered on the case. look for brackets on
the sides that hold it in. Some are trickier than others.

Make sure your PCI video card is for a MAC. PC cards will not work properly
unless you flash the bios(in my experience not worth the effort/lack of
support).

Belkin makes a nice USB card that works well w/ the mac. Visit a Comp USA
and you should find them in the Mac section(~$20). They work very well.
Make sure to download the apple USB driver 1.4.1

Good luck.

Martin

><>I'm looking to purchase a USB card and
new video card to replace the existing one, will any
USB card do? or is there Mac USB card as opposed to
PC USB cards? Lastly, my friend informed me that if I
just purchase an ATI PCI video card, then I can just
install it in the PowerTower without any need to flash
firmware, etc. Is that the case? I'm planning to get
an ATI Xpert 128 (for PC) and use it, what would I
need to do to get it ready for the PowerTower? Thanks
for all your help.
