OSX will run on a powerwave. 10.2 (Jaguar) requires a G3 or G4 where 10.1.5 or lower will run on a 604 (I actually got it to boot on a 120Mhz 604 with 32Mb of ram). Currently running a G3-400 PowerWave with 288Mb RAM osX 10.1.5 and 9.2.2
