Ok, I've got 2 PTPs that I'm looking to use for various things, and would like to upgrade the memory.
I understand the motherboard can work with either EDO or FPM, and that mixing the 2 types is bad. My question is: What did the PTP 225 originally ship with? How do I check the ram type now? Do I have to pull it out and decipher the numbers on the chips, or is there software to report what's in each slot? --Casey _________________________ Charles (Casey) Goodwin [EMAIL PROTECTED] 518-209-1547 -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
