Hi all,
I have a simple question that I've posted here before but the answers I got weren't
model specific, so here goes
again.

I'm running a Power Center 150 in a tower, utilizing a xlr8 G3/400 card and 512 mb
RAM. I'm running OS 9.1 and
that is quite stable.

Presently I'm printing on a Epson C80 but will be upgrading to the Epson 2200p soon
for my photography. I've had
people tell me that a Sonnet * *G3/800 * * card will allow one to run OS X but here
are my particulars ...

If I buy the Sonnet * *G4/800 * *, upgrade my system to the latest MAC OS
(Jaguar OS10.2?) and plan on using it with Photoshop 7.0.1
will I be able to utilize the upgrade for full speed? Is there anyone here that's
using that setup on an old 150 machine? I know bus
speed has a lot to do with the capability of the software and the PC 150 was set at
50mhz. I'm just cautious about spending another $400 on
an upgrade when for around $1700 I can get into a MAC dual processor G4 with a bus
speed in the 133mhz range.

Your help is much appreciated,

David
