Using either a second harddrive that has 8.6 on it or the CD with with 9.1 (
extensions off). open the icon of
your 9.1 harddrive and open the system folder then extention folder
  Get rid of the Ati driver and the ati resourse manager, also the Iomega drive and
appledriver, of the 9.1 system.
Set the virtual memory to on and just give it 1 meg more the the actual ram . Use
Start-up selector to pick the 9.1 harddrive icon and click on the icon to
reveal the operating system . Highlight the system 9.1 then press restart
