Hello, This may be an elementary macintosh question, and it is off topic for this list, but ... is there a way to keep my icons in the position on the desktop where I put them? I have icons for several servers that I would like to keep separate from other icons for disks and software. But whenever I start my machine up, it puts them where it wants them - all lined up on the right side of the screen. I think I had locked them in place once a long time ago, but for some reason they keep moving now upon start up. If I once knew how to lock them in place, I have now forgotten. (Mac OS 8.6)
