FYI: Your CPU clock frequency and 'bus speed' are independent of your PCI bus speed. Original PCI macs and clones have a 33Mhz bus and 66Mhz cards should operate as backward compatible. If your ISP wants to install an internal PCI card, they need to make sure it is macintosh compatible (for software reasons). If its an internal DSL modem, make sure its compatible. If you get an external DSL modem, then you can just interface via the ethernet port. http://home.hyperlink.net.au/~chart/whatpci.htm http://www.lowendmac.com/tech/pci.shtml Greg -- -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
