My main desktop is a beige G3 upgraded to a 500mhz G3 with a firewire/usb card and running 10.2.2.
I don't remember any trouble syncing my Visor via USB in system 9. In system X it works occassionally. I'm too busy working on hairy real-world problems to spend much time noodling with the computers, but it appears that syncing is more successful if the G3 isn't doing much else. That is, if it's freshly rebooted and I'm running a minimum of other applications the sync operation goes off fine. If it's been running for two weeks and I've got my normal collection of 10 apps running then the Visor complains that it can't contact the computer. I suspect that the CPU is too busy with other demands to talk to the Visor cradle when I've got those other things open. The same thing could be happening to you. Best o' luck. I always think it's a miracle that any of these computer things work at all. - Stephen Peters - [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------Amazing! ------------------------------------------------http://www.amz.com ------------------------------------------------503.827.3500 -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
