I have a USB HP printer and I have to choose the printer on the LEFT side
of the chooser and then again on the RIGHT side. The software that came with
my HP has to install a module that comes up on the right side of the chooser
window when I choose the printer on the left side. Doesn't give me ANY
option as far as which port the printer is attached. What I am trying to say
is you may have to reinstall the printer software. For some reason the last
time I installed mine it didn't install that module in the chooser, so as a
last resort I reinstalled the software now the printer works fine.
