 Dear Hearts,
1. This is the most often repeated problem / Question on the list.
Most often, you can ignore this "Hard Disk Update prompt ... and go on
with the installation.

2. If this doesn't work, you should FIRST ... back up your current info
on the disk (Some thing you should have done before starting upgrading
the OS anyway.)

3. THe reason for all this hooray is: The disk that came with your PCP
new was probably OS 8.1. Also included with this, was HardDisk ToolKit
... that forematted your Apple unsupported H/D. You can spend the bucks
for the latest version of Hard Disk tool Kit or get (What I chose as the
better way to go.) Hard Disk SpeedTools. It is upgradded free for life
(I figure I had spent about $400.00 on HardDisk ToolKit and the upgrades
over the years.

THe 2nd most repeated problem is "It won't regognize my CD drive." For
this go back to Number 3 and substitute CD Drive for HardDisk in all
that was said,i.e., CD SpeedTools.
