Sorry, but lets ask the obvious; did you pull the cache dimm? It will
cause the same problems in a PTP with an upgrade daughter card. MY PCP
wouldn't even boot up.

 THE PCP I'm writing this on, has a sonnet 500MHz G3 card and when
upgrading to OS 9.1 there were many hours spent with Conflict Catcher 8
and spring cleaning before it was back to it's pracically crash free
state. (Netscape 4.7 still crashes when you try to "Learn" a word.)

Methinks you have some duplications of preferences along with
conflicting Extensions and Control Panels. I learned the hard way: When
you install a new OS ... IT doesn't always remove all the old stuff.
