I strongly suggest that anyone receiving messages from any email list (including this one) choose the digest format, which batches many messages into one email in your mailbox. I too received all the messages you did, but since we get the digest, there were only about forty entries we had to delete. It prevents your mailbox from getting clogged up when this sort of thing happens. Servers go nuts sometimes; protect yourself and use the digest format. Another benefit is that the messages make more sense when you can see a bunch of them together, rather than all strung out one by one.
