I've posted this problem before and there have been no solutions so far. It
started when I installed the Sonnet G3 450 Crescendo card in the PCP 240 MT.
All was fine at first then "the problem" started: No restart from keyboard;
Chime, black screen. Shut down from power button on the box, restarts OK.
Sonnet reworked the card and was OK for a short time, then same thing.
Returned again, replaced with G3 500 card, same thing.
Meanwhile, I reclaimed my PTP 225 with PowerLogix 400. Switched the
Sonnet into the PTP and Powerlogix (now at 480) into the PCP. PCP is as
before, the PTP gets a little "burp" of a chime then hangs. Shut it down
manually, Boots OK.
Here's what I've tried: Zapped PRAM, even removed the ROM battery for a
hour, battery checked OK (3.68 v), ran all the Techtool Pro 3 tests OK,
installed latest FWB HD drivers, Ran DiskWarrior. RAM is 384 MB for PCP, 448
MB fir PTp, which I DEinterleaved. At this point I'm just "living with it"
but I'll try any suggestions. TIA, Ed
