I thought I would "chime" in on this subject. Our PowerWave does this too--
That is, sometimes it doesn't chime, and sometimes we have to wait a couple
minutes for the monitor to kick in. We've never waited 10 minutes, but two
or three have happened on the rare occasion. It might be worth waiting for
several minutes, especially if it's been a while since this computer was
used. Try holding down the power key, and not just pressing and releasing.
That might also help...
