So, I guess what I'm saying is, have you tried starting up and then leaving the computer alone for awhile? It may boot up just fine.

well, I tried what soemone on the list said about the cpu and cache and moving the video card to the bottom pci slot, I still get no bongor video out to a known good monitor, I removed all the ram as it looks like there is some on the motherboard, does a stick need to be installed for it to work? there is also no hdd, but I'm pretty sure I shoudl get video with a flashing ? even if there is no hdd. there is a floppy drive and a PRAM battery, I have no idea how good the battery is, would a dead pram battery make the machine not boot, I know that happens to some machines, but was unsure if this was one of those?
