I've had a couple of experiences with my PTP which may be relevant to you... Since I upgraded to OS 9.2.2 sometimes I get a startup chime and sometimes I don't. Also, ever since OS 8.6, sometimes my monitors take 10 minutes or more to come on, but then the computer boots up just fine.

So, I guess what I'm saying is, have you tried starting up and then leaving the computer alone for awhile? It may boot up just fine.

Best of luck,
Scott

well, I tried what soemone on the list said about the cpu and cache and
moving the video card to the bottom pci slot, I still get no bongor video
out to a known good monitor, I removed all the ram as it looks like there
is some on the motherboard, does a stick need to be installed for it to
work? there is also no hdd, but I'm pretty sure I shoudl get video with
a flashing ? even if there is no hdd. there is a floppy drive and a PRAM
battery, I have no idea how good the battery is, would a dead pram
battery make the machine not boot, I know that happens to some machines,
but was unsure if this was one of those?
