This is the only programme I am aware of that comes even remotely close to doing what you describe - I've never tried it, so I cannot vouch for it's abilities. I've always used Marcello Valeri's 'HiddenHunter' to ferret out any hidden files placed on my 'puter. I'm not sure where to find it, if you strike out, drop me a note and I'll upload it to one of the binary test groups on UseNet for you. http://www.aladdinsys.com/iclean/moreinfomac.html You'll have to update your OS to 9.1 or 9.2, though - I've been running OS 9.2 on a PowerWave 132 and a PowerCenter 132, both upgraded with sonnet 500mhz G3's without any problem at all utilising 'OS 9 Helper.' http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/OS9Helper/framework.cfm?topic=32 Back every thing up before updating, though. And fair warning if you update to 9.2 (a warning was not a consideration afforded to me.) OS 9.2 consolidates all of your previous folders (Utilities, Internet, Graphics etc...) and places them into the newly created 'Applications (os 9)' folder - This skeered the bejeebus out of me - I thought at first the installer had deleted these folders and their contents. It's probably a good thing the kids were in school at the time, else I would have had to empty the entire contents of my bank account into the swear jar. =>I Good luck. > I have a PT Pro 250 (original 604e), running > OS9.0.x. > > What app will find and remove spyware/adware?
