Found a Goodie This is only remotely related to the spyware/adware question, but it certainly solves an annoying problem. WEBWASHER makes a free for home use downloadable from their website popup/banner killer. It runs from your control panel, works under systems 8.5/.6 or system 9. You can customize it, adding new .extensions as they crop up. For those of us w/ slow processor speeds, or limited memory, this is a godsend. and the price can't be beat. It only takes a minute to download, and I've been using the program for about a year and a half.
If I ever get a business of my own, I'll pay their professional use liscence fee. I will certainly reccommend them to any boss I have.
