Thanks, You're the one that mentioned it. I find they have used ones 9.1 GB for 4.95. However, the adaptor is to a Narrow 50 pin SCSI. Are the internal cables Narrow SCSI? I would guess they are as they are centainly narrower than the Centronics 50 pin SCSI connectors.

A couple of weeks back, someone mentioned they preferred the SCSI to the ATA drives as they lasted longer. I need an internal SCSI drive about 9 GB would be super.

Where can i find one that's not 86 GB and costs $789.00. Prefer Seagate or Lacie OR "best of all" an IBM. The one in my PTP is getting noisy and the picture on the monitor is getting shaky. I'm backing everything up, but it's got me nervous. Need another one for my highly modified PCP240.

eBay is a good suggestion. I have had good luck buying SCSI drives from Surplus Computers http://www.softwareandstuff.com/hdwstorage.html You'll probably need an adapter as most are 68 or 80 pin, but those are inexpensive and work fine. My PTP has two of 36.7 GB units in it with 68-50 pin adapters and it runs just fine.
