Ken, Not a stupid question... There is a website I recently found...used to be LinuxPPC.com and is now hosted on www.PenguinPPC.org...they have Yellow Dog and lots of good info.
I had a friend reformat my hard drive on a PowerComputing PowerBase 240 and install a dual boot with 9.1 and PPC Linux...(I can boot to linux off the install CD by holding down the 'c' key during startup --otherwise it boots in OS 9.1). there is much discussion about the NuBus macs and iMac machines, but plenty of stuff on the oder machines and clones. Happy hunting... I would like to reformat the hard drive and put Yellow Dog Linux on it.
